i have a 1990 z32 automatic and all the lights on the dash are on even when the cars running . .. sometimes they all go away but more often then not there are on .. it just started doin that i duno what it cud be ... ( the check engine light doesnt come on ) just the batt .anti lock.brake,lights ...any help on the issue wud be nyce thanks !

i know its not the alternator cause i just had a new one put in ... i duno?

I turned my 97 Subaru legacy 2.5gt off. When I tried to restart it everything was dead!!! It was like the battery wasn't hooked up. I took the keys out and walked in the house. I looked outside and the tail light were on and the front amber lights were on. I tried to start it and nothing. I cleaned the battery posts but it didn't help. I unhooked the positive cable and put the key in the ignition and turned it on in order to hook the positive cable up. It started just fine, however the running lights are still on and the dash lights are blinking! I turned the engine off and the running lights were still on and the dash lights were still blinking. I had to unhook the positive cable to stop this process. Can anybody out there point me in the right direction??? 1 Answer

1995 Jeep Cherokee OverheatingHello all,Got a slight over-heating problem with my Jeep. Actually I noticed this from about 2 years ago and it's still the same today.When I'm stuck in bad traffic, or sit at a red light for too long, the temperature gauge would slowly creep upwards over the middle marker toward the third marker. I have not had it sitting idle for so long that it went into the last red region.But as soon as I start driving again, the temperature drops back down below just under the halfway mark.To me it sounds like an airflow problem, i.e. the engine is not getting enough airflow when it's sitting idle.Could this be the fan? Or a clogged or dirty radiator?I see two fans. The fan on the right always spins. The fan on the left does not spin when the engine is started. I have a 1989 Camaro RS V6. On my way home from work yesterday I noticed that all my guages are floating the speedometer was bouncing around between 60 and 70 sporadically. The temperature gauge, oil gauge, rpm and gas gauge were all floating around when I slow down they all start coming back down? For just a second I smelt a very strong burning smell (electrical) that very quickly faded. The SES light has been on constant the whole time this is happening. Same thing was happening on the way to work this morning car is running and driving just fine. I guess today when I get home I can check the codes to see what codes I get as a starting point and work my way from there. I will also check the ground wires to see if maybe I am not getting good connection somewhere. Could it be my battery by chance? Maybe even a stripped wire somewhere?Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! 4 Answers
