my 97 town& country van all wheel drive is not going into overdrive just high rpms, it has 134,000 miles on it, what should i do
1 Answer
97 model so it has a few miles on this transmission. Only a mechanic can answer or resolve your problems. Transmissions only last so many miles even with proper maintenance which includes changing the transmission fluid at designated intervals. Temperature is also important so the cooling system needs to be serviced and properly working. If you tow or carry heavy weight this can shorten the life of transmission. There could be other reasons as well. But you do need to have this problem looked at by a certified mechanic. Good luck.
