My truck is pouring oil from behind where the oil filter bracket mounts to the engine block, does this mean I have a cracked engine block? And if not can I fix it myself?

The oil filter adapter is leaking. Take the oil filter off, then take the adapter off and inspect it for cracks. May just be the gasket for the adapter. Also if the oil pressure sending unit is right there, then look to see that the oil is not coming from there.
