Looking for placement of a 9 inch support bar or bracket from under the hood.

Asked by Nov 12, 2015 at 05:36 PM about the Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Need to know where a support bar or bracket goes. Removed it when starting to do a valve seal replacement job, and now can't find where it goes back on . It's about 9 inches long with a flat bolt hole on one end and a 90 degree angle bolt hole on the other end. Any help greatly appreciated.  It's a 1990 chevy k1500 truck 4X4  350cid

Sounds like one of the A/C compressor support arms.
