whats wrong with my chevy s10 truck ?

I replaced the distributor and the coil and it still wont start? what's the problem?

check your distributor cap you may not have it on correctly.If it is not down in the orientation tabs you will not have contact to the rotor. = No spark

Air, gas, spark. Need all three in proper amounts and proper sequence. Timing, pick up from the sensor on the cam, spark to the plugs, everything put back in place and corrosion free and tight?
