Where is my chevy S10 truck cabin filter?

On my 96 S10, my cabin air filter assembly is mounted on the left side lower rear cabin wall, under the valence panel, behind the driver's seat. Not sure if it has a filter in it. Never took it off. Hope this helps. Good Luck!
