My car feels like it doesn't want to accelerate

Catalytic Converter plugged up? This is my guess today for ALL the non- accelerating questions- put your hand behind the exhaust pipe- there should be a good flow of exhaust- take it to a good mechanic- or just keep fishin' for guesses-
