can a sun roof be installed in a 350 z

yes. They have to cut it out and fit one in + add motor. Probably around $1000. Not worth it in my opinion unless you 'must have it'.

roofs are pretty thin on those cars and theres a lot of structural forces at work in the reinforcement under and around the visible roof. i think $1000 is a VERY low estimate and it would probably more like 5 or 10, you would also have to have your headliner cut up, stitched, and made to work with it, the roof might have to be structurally reinforced, and the glass might have to be custom or found from a different car, even then it might not fit right. i would advise against it because they werent built for that and it could actually compromise the integrity of it, especially if you did get hurt in a crash than the insurance could argue that it was your roof's fault and you dont get a medical check. the risks, time, money, and headache are not worth it in my opinion, assuming it would even be possible
