have the fuel pressure tested, could be a bad fuel pump or an intermittent problem with the pump, I think the only to tell if its an intermittent problem with the pump is to have a gauge hooked up and when the car stalls check to see what the pressure reading is...

joe is right could be your pump is getting hot and gets weak with more fuel around the pump cooling it better pressure cold
I notice when I have a full tank it barely does it or doesn't do it at all
