I would call your local Mazda dealer, I believe they should have this info with their sales data.

I think 1000. I just bought one fully loaded. I love it!

I work for the largest Mazda retailer in Illinois, possibly the Midwest. Production is limited to 200 units in Japan, UK will get 400, Canada will get 100 units, and the US will get 1000 units.
