Power window slips and drops glass into door

Sounds like a bad window regulator. HTH. -Jim

May also be a bad window guide. The window guide is a plastic wedge that fits into a hole in the window, and holds the window in place. If it breaks or slips out of the hole the window will fall. This design is used on the 88 olds 98. I know because of personal experience.
