I have a 91 Oldsmobile and I can not get the gas cap off. How can I get it off?

It seems to be stuck but it turns and I hear clicking. What can I do to get it off?

Hi have you tried to remove it with a channel lock wrench or vise grips? They would work be sure to buy a new gas cap to replace the bad one hope this helps?
