Question type: General

I just bought an 85 cutlass supreme that was the
V6 originally. It has the 307 olds swapped in and I
was told he thinks the tranny is the th350 (swap
was done by owner before the one I bought the car
from). How do I go about identifying which tranny I
have?

There should be a metal tag on the side of the transmission with the codes for the transmission. Clean it off and take a picture of it. Your local GM Dealer should be able to decode it. If not an Oldsmobile enthusiasts website should be able to. HTH. -Jim
