2001 Chevy suburban 100,000 miles turns off when starting engine and trying to make turns?

I am having the same problem I was told it is the idle air control sensor and because I have traction control I can't get the part by itself meaning I had to purchase and new throttle body (around 800 bucks)I picked up a used one and will see what happens.
