I have a 1984 LTD Crown Victoria and I've noticed that the battery light stays on continuously. What's the deal? What could it be?

It could be that your battery is weak. Could also be an alternator issue. If you take the car to a mechanic, they will be able to pull up a code and tell you pretty quick what the issue is.

your battery should be load tested. some autoparts stores will do this for free. It wouldn't hurt to have the alternator tested as well.
