changed starter on 2001 cavalier now wont start

Make sure both wires are hooked up to the starter and that they are tight. There is the big wire and a small one that goes to the solenoid. Both have to be connected for the starter to work. Of course your battery needs to be charged and you should check your battery connections while you are at it.
