Do you have white smoke coming out of the tail pipe? How is the engine running?

Possible crack in the resivor tank / radiator or hoses.

You have 2.4 liter and it was a very common problem to blow the head gasket. Have it pressure tested. Try not to drive it any more than you need to until I get it fixed. If it is a head gasket then the antifreeze will get into the oil and do lots of internal damage.

Take off your oil fill cap and see if it has creamy oil on it, if yes you probably have a blown head gaskets. Or Do you smell coolant when the heater is turned on, if so your heater core is leaking and you will lose coolant there.

I have a 1994 chevrolet cavalier z24. I have had 3 transmissions put into my car since January, 2015. I am still having the same problem 3 months later. The transmission is slipping when I put the car from park into drive. It goes into neutral. Can this be caused by the inside gear shifter if the shifter is not connected properly to the transmission? Hello I have a 2001 chevy cavalier and yesterday morning I tried to start my car and turned over the key and it did absolutely nothing.
