For the catalytic converter readiness monitor to set the gas tank must be between 3/4 and 1/4. No more and no less. Then just drive normally for a few days. It'll set. If you're trying to pass emissions inspection, your '08 model can have 1, but only 1, readiness monitor not set and it will pass. This is under Federal Regulation. So if this is the only one that's not set, go ahead and take it through. It'll pass. HTH. -Jim
