is it worth it to get an used engine?
I have an audi a4 1.8T i took it to the mechanic to replace my thermostat they
already replace it. it turns out that my engine oil light was on and i had oil
sludge he told me that it was bad that it allowing to drain and allowing new oil
circulate it got so bad that he said a needed a new engine i was wondering if i
should replace the whole engine or leave at is.
its a 1.8t t is for turbo is it a deisel
no it is not a diesel and yes it stands for turbo
If it was mine I would stick in a used engine then get rid of it. on your next vehicle service it properly and you won't have that kind of trouble.
Yep proper servicing is always a must. I would replace the engine or sell it for parts Make sure you get all the same codes and that you don't go higher then a 2006 try and stay same year and engine modal if you can its less work.
