Driver's side window not working (2008 Taurus)

Asked by BelleAuto Feb 11, 2015 at 05:16 PM about the 2008 Ford Taurus

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

All windows work except the driver's side.  I have tried a new motor.  I have fire for both up
and down functions at the plug to the motor, so switch is working.  But hook up new
motor and it won't even try to work.  Any thoughts?

COULD BE BROKEN WIRE BETWEEN DRIVER DOOR AND BODY OF CAR IN BOOT, BUT MOST OF THE TIME THE GROUND IN SWITCH IS BAD, MY EXPERIANCE IS ITS USUALLY THE MASTER SWITCH
