My brake pedal won't go down

Asked by Feb 03, 2014 at 03:53 PM about the 2007 Pontiac Solstice

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My brake pedal works but it won't go down all the way.  It's stuck that way when the car is
on and off.

any lights on? maybe a ABS light?

Yes, the check engine light and the other light that looks like a battery.

battery light usually means bad battery or alternator but I would have the battery and alternater checked and scanned by autozone for free and post what they tell you and go from there...
