rims bolt pattern and offset

i have a 1987 300zx and im shopping for rims. the bolt pattern is 5x114.3 and the factory offset is 20. what offset can i go up to without harming anything?

When looking for the same info myself, I have seen guys with 350Z/G35 coupe wheels on their cars. I'll bet almost any set of 17" or 18" wheels for them will fit the Z. That's my plan for my '85 Turbo.
