Why is my car saying service esc

Because you have a bad wheel bearing assembly or hub. The abs and traction control (Satutn calls it ESC) sensors are in the hub. Its either that or the wire from the hub to the body is broken/pinched/shorting to ground. Is the abs and/or brake light on as well?

If I may add it could also be a faulty wheel speed sensor

Yes. The "BRAKE" light and the "ESC" light is on.

No the check engine and battery light both keep coming on

No just popped on traction been coming on off and check engine light on too

Could it be a transmission problem if service escape and service traction light stay on,
