I've got a 1972 Beetle, I bought a 350ml carb cleaner spray but I'm absolutely clueless how to go about using it... Help would be very much appreciated

If it is still on the motor,remove breather spray at fast idle inside bowl then the outside.If that doesn't work get a kit disassemble clean and reassemble
