1965 vw beetle Slight grind when going from 3rd to 2nd below 25 mph. Is the syncro going bad or is there another adjustment I can make?

Probably just a worn transmission. Have you checked the gear oil level and changed it recently?

Do you match the engine speed when downshifting? Give the gas a little blip when you downshift.
