Were 63 beetles have a 23 volt, or 6 volt system?

the 63 is 6 volt unless it has been converted to 12 volts which happens alot cause 6 volts really sucks i remeber pushing my dads 66 down the street at 530 in the morning to get it going

Thanks, I thought so. Not sure if this one has been converted or not, I'll find out when I look at it tomorrow. =)
