I have a '06 Jetta 2.5 with 53k miles that all of the sudden started missing and smelling of rotten eggs.
Sounds like a misfire and you are dropping raw fuel in your exhaust system. If you let it go too long you can clog your catalytic convertor over time. Have your car diagnosed to determine what is causing the issue. You or your mechanic can find out what ignition coil is giving you the problem.
Thank you Tom, It just seemed odd i pulled all the plugs thinking one had gone bad but all of them look the same as far as burning the fuel. I guess what I'm trying to say is no one plug stood out.
check the coils they go intermittently before dying.
Thanks Tom and Hector. I'm having it send down the the shop to be scanned.
