Air conditioner cools when compressor clutch is on but does not cool when clutch kicks off. Checked freon level and is good. What should I toubleshoot nexy?

Most common is a clutch cycling switch, sometimes they fail completely and other times they operate intermittently. There is more information on these switches on you tube, just type in your year make and model and A/C cycling switch, and up pops some videos.
