car keeps spinning but wont start

i have a 1990 98 oldsmobile that wont start it just spins an spins but wont turn
over i have change crank sensor plugs wires alternator battery changed 3
times dont know whats going on

You say spins, but won't turn over, that is going to be with the starter itself.


ok thats what i was thinking i didnt know if a bad starter would spin at all if it was going out


Starter drive had gone bad, take the starter out and have it rebuilt at a starter and alternator shop if possible, or use it as a core to purchase a remanufactured one at a parts store.
