2004 mazda rx8 wont start.
Discovered oil filter loose and low
on oil. Could this cause no start

Since the rotary engine uses oil squirters that take small metered amounts of oil and mix it into the fuel to lubricate the seals, being low on oil (and a loose oil filter) is a BIG issue. Have it towed and serviced ASAP.
