how to i get my key out of the ignition i have a 2006 kia sportage

i have a 2006 kia sportage and my key is stuck in the ignition i can start it and drive it
without a problem but the key just wont come out.

might sound strange to you but get some wd40 with that little plastic hose and flush out where the key goes in. or better yet take it the video..about the same thing.its pretty easy>

The old kia key stuck in igniton,your key is twisted,you can try what Kelly said but if it dont work,try wiggling the steering wheel back and fourth and turning key on and off why pulling it out when in off position,if you do not succeed by doing this you will have to replace the ignition switch.


i have tried the WD40 its still stuck but thank for responding

I thought of compressed air to follow the lock lube idea, but could the key be a little twisted? You could show it to someone who can do the steps with you and see if they can tell. my keys have had a bend put in them before or a twist. they dont make em like we used to.
