no start after replacing radiator fan assembly & coolant temp sensor for computer

Asked by needy Apr 09, 2010 at 11:00 AM about the 2000 Chrysler Town & Country

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

we replaced the radiator fan assembly on a 2000 Town & country along with the coolant temp sensor for the computer. After installation, the van won't start. No alarm system and no chip in key. Mileage and gear selector light up when key is turned to the start position but nothing happens.

i would first check the battery voltage if its under 9.6volts most cars wont start along with many other accessorys wont work either also make sure the battery connections are tight than if thats OK than check for any blown fuses in both fuse boxes and if those are OK check for lose grounds around the area u were working those are the steps i would take hope it helps :)

yes battery volts are more than 9.6. check all fuses & relays. I noticed there is no check engine light with the key in the on position. Also it is a 2000 caravan not a town & country. sorry. and thank you for your help. needy

so battery is good and all fuses and relays are good? so did u check the main grounds on the engine and or radiator support ?
