I have a 2011 chrysler town and country 3 wks ago my battery light came on had everything tested and it tested fine so I can shed the battery go to Daytona the next day and it came on again but this time after the battery light came on all the other dash lights came on and it shut off. I had to have it towed home I change the alternator and battery. It ran for 2miles all the lights again on the dash came on it was running horrible and wouldnt shift. I read that the tipm may have a bad connection so a friend of mine came over took it out and every since it was put back in my van will not start, makes no noise as if it was trying to start none of the dashboard lights work none of the interior lights work there's a red light on the dash which means that the anti theft has been activated and I cannot figure out how to deactivate it.. PLEASE HELP I have already spent over $1000

Disconnect your battery cables, negative (black one always first). Connect the positive and the negative cables together (battery is disconnected), Leave them that way at least 2 hours. What it does is help drain the energy out of the capacitors that are related to the anti theft system. Its called a "hard reset". Its worked twice for me...But now, three weeks later it did it again and i nothing ive tried has worked so im going to call a locksmith that is familiar with the issue. Sometimes the chip in the fob needs to be reprogrammed to your vehicle. 12 years ago that was the problem with an 8 year old Expidition and i never had a problem with that again. Q. I dont think the anti theft system can Not Be Installed in a new vehicle when they make them. My personal and theft system is a small hidden camera programmed to my phone and my 357..
