fuel pump replacement on my 96 Buick Century Custom started now wont

I just changed the fuel pump on my 96 Buick Century Custom, started fine on
the first try and ran for about a minute. An hour later tried to start and nothing
I can't hear the fuel pump kicking on at all and i checked the connections on
the outside of the tank and everything seems to be connected right. Can
anyone help?
