Why does my fuse for my turn signal blow when I start car

Asked by Mar 06, 2013 at 05:20 PM about the 1989 Honda Accord

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Why turn signal fuse keeps blowing
on my car when I start it

1 Answer

...well something is shorting, causing the fuse to blow. It's got to be one of the lightbulbs...I suspect it is the one down near the bumper, as this is going to see a lot of road debris getting up in there. Inspect the bulbs to find one hot lead shorted to ground....possilbly in a cracked bulb...or the wires leading to this bulb.
