my car started to shake violently, it felt like it was coming from the rear of the vehicle. What could cause this?
possibly toasted wheel bearings or loose lug nuts.even broken studs.hit a curb?
radial tire belt side walls may have separated
if the car was in the 45 to 65 mph it could be ujoints if seen them go from cool to seised up in a mater of minuts take the rear dline out and ckeck if the jonts seam smoth iv any binding or resistence the joint is bad if your stock detroit ujoint sises are 6301 for the small h/f ton 1175 for the larger
u-joint failure dont make vehicle shake violently.will clunk switching forward reverse.finally grenading if left to long.wont shake bad at this point even.some other prob exists
On both accounts, i was driving in a parking lot. So, i was going at least 15- 20 mph.
