Regarding 1967 Thunderbird's Left on the Planet
I have been a member of GarGurus for some time now. I wanted to comment
on the scarcity of any 1967 Model's, both Tudor and Fourdor. I think they're
are very few worldwide left. And the unrestored/original ( with regular
maintenance ) ones, are no where to be found. I would be interested to see
photo's of one's that claim to be authentic originals. Thanks Dick in RDU
They're not rare for lack of production numbers, but just not well regarded as previous model years. Most see the 67 as the start of the decline of the Thunderbird. Cargurus has a collection of 67 Tbird photos here: http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/1967-Ford-Thunderbird-Pictures-c4621
Ken, Of the 77,956 produced, both Two/Four doors, est. left in the world at 600 units, seems mighty generous to me. Not quite sure what you mean in re: " lack of production numbers ? " I have seen the pic's posted here. Of the Glamourbirds, the 1967 is the most appointed model with the innovations, such as the inside door release handles, etc. Just an observation, that this model year IS a very rare Bird indeed. Very few nice ( excellent ) examples left. I was interested in seeing pictures of other '67's that are owned out there by members of CarGurus. Thanks Gemman
I have a 1967 Thunderbird all original.According to the Marti report there were only 70 Thunderbirds made with my interior, exterior combination. There were only 5000 Thunderbirds made with a driver’s power seat.
