i have a1986 s10 that what you start it it wants to die rev it up and it will stay running until u turn it off or it dies and when it does it wont start back for a least an hour but it dont get hot

It don't get hot tho like I started it up just to back it up and it died out of
the blue and wounldnt start back and it loses power and drinks more gas
and have to fight and Rev it up to keep it running. But once you get it going
it well run but if it firs or shuts it wont start for atlrast an hour please I
need this truck help

Check vacuum lines, fuel filter, and simple ignition components. But emphasis on vacuum lines

Thanks but I'm not real good on cars but I checked the hoses under the hood but not the fuel pump or them hoses and now when I start it I have to put the gas pedal to the floor
