monte carlo 77
ok i just bought a 77 monte carlo 350 with 170,000 miles on it and 1.) it dies when i let it idle and 2.) i bought a new hood latch but i dont know exactly how to put it in right. i dont wana start tearin stuff off around the door if i dont have to. Any advise?
Can I ask what you bought it for?? I have a 1977 that doesn't run and needs to be rebuilt. Only one owner ever and that was gpa. I gotta pay my fam off for it and can't find a value
as far as the dying out thing i would check the idle setting on the carb., it might be a bit too low.
ok i just got internet. ok so i changed the near prehistoric spark plugs that just were filled with grime. they didnt even have gaps!, I also cleaned out the carb and changed the idle. as for the price I bought it for a steal of $900 dollars with nearly mint insides and out. but ive seen them go from 2,000 to 3,500 around the web
So is the car running Ty?
