Weird noises and hard steering also car revs up but doesn't move then goes fast after a couple of seconds
Ive had my toyota camry 89 for about a month it was sitting in my driveway
and i got it working. I have a couple problems and would like some help im
not too good with cars but recently when ever i turn the wheel it makes a
bad noise also the wheel is hard to move probably from it being old. But the
same noise when i turn is when i try to go reverse or gas after being still it
revs up and take a lil more power then goes quickly foward i have no idea
what it is. Im hoping its a easy fix i can do myself instead of a mechanic but
any help is needed Thank you!!!!
Suggest you check under hood FLUID LEVELS first. The owners manual will be your guide for these checks. The engine reving up before the vehicle moves might be a transmission issue.
is there ways i could check the transmission before i know that my transmission is completely fucked the fluid levels seem to be fine
You might consider removing the tyranny oil pan for an inspection of the tyranny filter. Then might just install a new filter and tyranny pan gasket...refill....and see if there is any improvement in tyranny function.
Noob did you ever resolve the issue with this vehicle?
