are the back lights and brake lights in 1994 tercel same or different bulbs?

back lights and brakes not working- no fuse blown or missing

I think they are seperate, as the brake lights use bulb #1157 and the turn signal bulbs are #1156. The turn signal bulb is part of the amber lens.
