I was told my 2005 v6 had a nascar motor and puts out 300hp by the number in the door is this true? How many are out there?

Someone was telling you stories. If the engine is original from the factory, you have a 4.0L V6, 210 HP and 240 Ft-Lbs of Torque. Do you have a special edition Mustang or custom?
