Where can I go to find out how many 1969 Ford Mustang Grande's there are registered in the U.S.?

Question type: General
There were only 22k produced in 1969, as Mustang looked to create a 'luxury'
model. It was not that popular, but was curious to find out how many exist
today.

You're best bet is to join a Mustang registry, they'll have as good an idea how many are out there as anyone.

That was not helpful. It only has certain vehicle types and Grande was not one of them. Any other suggestions?
Cthomps, I suggested joining a Mustang registry as that is the only way to have any idea of how many Mustangs of a particular option might still exist. You can look up how many factory options were made all day, but that will not tell you how many are still on the road. A good Mustang owner association like Mustang Club of America that keeps a registry of owner's cars will be your only way to get an idea how many 69 Grandes still exist, but even then it's all based on volunteer information. There are more Mustang clubs and registries than for any other car, so you might be able to come up with a ballpark figure.
I'd like to know the answer for other vintage vehicles as well. Data exists at the local municipal level, but not sure how high up the governmental food chain it climbs. Plan to research further myself short of calling the thousands of Motor Vehicle offices... that assumes a live English speaking person can be reached!
