Why would my 2000 Honda CR-V stall while driving, sit for a short time the start back up?

Check engine light came on, code said bad catalytic converter. changed the cat and it is still doing it. driving on interstate and car shuts off while driving. let it sit for a few minutes then restart. drive more and car shuts off again.

check and see if it has a egnition modguler fords did that a lot some years ago let them cool off and they would start right up

I had the same problem. It's the ignition switch. You can buy a new one off Ebay for £35 & it takes about 10 minutes to swap it over to the new one (and I'm not a mechanic). You can see how to do it on YouTube.
