My AC fuse blows once it is put in and the air conditioner is started. When the wire is disconnected from the Compressor everything stays on and the fuse does not blow.
I tested the wire when disconnected from the compressor and it has power when on, the fan blows fine, and the fuse does not blow.
Sound,s like you may have a bad ac compressor.
Check the wiring going to the compressor. You may have a bare spot that's touching something metal and creating a short. HTH. -Jim
Js, they said he took wire,s loose from ac,and had no problem,s.
Could be while unplugging the compressor the wiring harness is moved and is pulled away from anything metal. -Jim
