ONE MORE QUESTION, I BOUGHT THIS CAR OFF THE ORIGINAL OWNER,SHE CLAIMS ITS ALL ORIGINAL BUT I WAS SURPRISED TO SEE A HOLLEY CARB ON IT,IT LOOKS VERY CLOSE TO THE QUADREJET CARB. LOOKS LIKE ORIGINAL MAYBE 6,7 OR 8 FACTORY VACUM LINES OR SIMERLAR AND ALL SEEM TO BE IN PLACE WHERE THEY ALL EXECT...I DO KNOW THAT WHEN SHE FACTORY ORDERED THE CAR ,SHE WANTED SPECIFIC ITEMS ON THE CAR AND OTHER ITEMS NOT TO GO WITH THE CAR..ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS HOLLEY.... THANKS
From the Camaro's and TA's I have drivin' in the '70's, reverse is to the left and up, it also cause's a part in the steering column to turn, as you put it in Reverse. If the linkage or syncro's are beat up, you may have to look for a "sweet spot. If no luck, try turning the steering column safty... scott
Thanks for your response, you are correct. good advice!
