Toyota Avalon NOTHING works

I have a 2001 Toyota Avalon the battery has juice
the alternator was working but all of a sudden the
car died and now nothing at all work

I HAVE AN 01 AVALON AND FRON TIME TO TIME IT ACTS DEAD, WHEN WANT TO CRANCK IT UP NOTHING WORKS. I LEARN TO PUT IT ON NEUTRAL AND IT STARTS. MAYBE A SHIFT SELECTOR CONTACT.
