Audi A4 Brakes
2000 Audi A4 1.8iSE, awful noise & judder from brakes @ less than 40mph, over 60 mph, no noise or judder & ABS light on. Suggestions?
new pads and rotors
What are Rotors? Thought it might be an ABS sensor, just had diagnosed, showing intermittent fault speed sensor & different speed sensor impulses
have a shop do the work if you dont know what rotors are
definately not the sensor take vehicle to a certified brake shop ASAP a problem with the brakes is too dangerous to ignore.
sounds like it could be rotors. but I don't know why the abs light would be on. Is it a solid abs light and a blinking brake light? or just the abs? are your wheels on tight? what does the noise sound like?
It's a solid ABS Light, noise is like a scraping of metal, but discs & pads are fine. Had diagnistics done, intermittent ABS sensor fault REAR wheel, noise sounds like coming from O/S/F???
