You have to put a code scanner on it to see what the light is coming on for some autoparts stores ( advanceauto for one) will check it for nothing and also I thing Monroe Muffler will also do it for nothing. Theses are great resources to have your car checkd out that way you can see what is wrong and decide on the best way to fix it ( you DO NOT have to have the work done there ) BUT if you bring it to a dealer they will cahrge somewhere around 7 $70 to &85.00 I brought a code scanner for about $45.00 and i have gotten my money's worth 4 times over.A lot of these problems that show up when the CEL (Idiot light ) comes on can be repaired by the owner just google the code number and see what comes up good luck , let me know what you find out
