Question type: Maintenance & Repair

On my 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix I had a leak on
my transmission I knew it was the gasket so I
changed it as well as the filter too but now that I
fix it and doesn't leak no more now my car doesnt
want to run in drive or reverse any suggestion
what might be the problem?

Did the filter come lose in transmission or not in properly. Did you install new filter seal?

Make sure you didn't accidentally unplug something while you were working on it. Also, check the fluid level. Make sure that you put enough fluid back in. Finally, check the shifter cable. Make sure it didn't get unhooked somehow. HTH. -Jim
